BlackBerry 8700

The BlackBerry 8700 has been available for Cellular One for some time now and I've never had a chance to write up a quick review of the phone so here it goes. The 8700 is similar to almost all Blackberry's in layout and function but differs in the overall look and feel. The BlackBerry 8700 is very sleek and has a great visual appearance with a very similar user interface. The 8700 comes featured with bluetooth compatibilities which is something of an industry standard these days.

The phone itself is great and works extremly well as a Blackerry. I had no real complaints on any of the functions or features, the phone was never marketed like the Pearl so I didn't expect Pearl features. I would recommend this phone for the business oriented individual who does prefers phones that don't utilize the problematic window OS system.

Recently in Oklahoma City, Cellular One has honored 9 different Cellular One customers that exemplified how cell phones can be beneficial in emergency situations. Each of these 9 Cellular One customers have been in an emergency situation, sometimes being life-threatening. Also, in each situation, each customer relied on their cell phone to get help to their location. Cellular One has chosen to honor these customers, as they feel that they exemplify the significance of wireless technology in our every day lives. Along with their special recognition from Cellular One, each of these customers were also awarded with free cell phones.

Nokia 8265

If you are aiming to be retro with cell phones, then mobile phones from the past would be your options. You know, those big and bulky analog boxes our fathers have left dangling on their belts during business hours. But if the ancients are not your type, then the next best thing would be the Nokia 8265.
Pretty much one of the fanciest phones during its heydays, the Nokia 8265 is more than a fancy phone. It was a classic by standards back then. Hook it up with enhancers from the array of
Nokia accessories, such as cell phone antenna, cell phone batteries and such, the result was just great.
US Cellular still markets this phone but I believe they only have limited models left.
